This festival was organized as part of the Italy-France maritime cross-border cooperation project and was held in the city of Savona. Seven citrus fruits – Chinotto from Savona and Pernambucco Orange from Finale Ligure for Liguria; the citrus fruits of the Island of Elba for Tuscany; Pompia for Sardinia; citron, clementine and pomelo for Corsica – have been transformed into as many fantastic characters from the world of the circus, each with its own story to tell.
